Marie Claire Mexico Leadhers celebrates the next generation of game changers.

Strongly believing that the world needs real role models, Marie Claire Mexico & Latin America are committed to finding inspiring women who are game changers in their own fields and give them a wider audience.

The project started with the recognition of 10 women, chosen for their social causes, bravery and empowerment. Each woman represents a unique category: Politically (In)Correct, Green Queen Hero, Modern Muse or Millennial Crush. Among the Leadhers, Olivia Culpo was the guest of honor and spoke to all the women gathered at the ceremony highlighting the role of women today. Duckie Thot visited Mexico City to attend the ceremony and receive the Modern Muse award and Mariana Zaragoza, the Mexican model who has walked Chanel Haute Couture, received the Catwalk Queen award.

The event was hosted by Jackie Bracamontes, a well known Mexican tv host, actress and writer alongside Pedro Zurita, Marie Claire Mexico’s Editor in Chief. Leadhers will continue throughout the year with regular dinners and workshops and will ultimately decide, together, the next generation of Leadhers.
