Wearing glasses is a great way to express your own personal style, but choosing the perfect pair can be hard! So this season Marie Claire Russia partnered with Safilo (one of the world’s largest manufacturers of sunglasses) to ensure everybody finds the pairs they love, just in time for summer.

Marie Claire #GetFramed multi-content platform featured a model with sunglasses for the first time and a dedicated sunglasses section showcasing the must-have eyewear from various brands: Safilo, Oxydo, Tommy Hilfiger, Elie Saab, Jimmy Choo, Mark Jacobs, Polaroid, Moschino, Fendi, Carrera and more.

Online, marieclaire.ru sparked the conversation by spotting celebrities in sunglasses and a selection of the most trendy shades of the season, whilst creating buzz across social networks via a competition to win a pair from the Polaroid heritage collection on vk.com and Instagram.

The highlight of #GetFramed was a memorable event in GUM, Moscow’s most central department store, where Marie Claire readers received a 25% discount. Photographers were on hand to take fashionable photos for keepsakes and everyone who purchased a pair of sunglasses received a free copy of Marie Claire. To celebrate the first #GetFramed in Russia, Marie Claire and Safilo invited journalists, celebrities and influencers to a special party, where the guest were treated to express makeovers by M.A.C Cosmetics, DJ set by Sasha Panika, desserts and cocktails.
