New Nork native, Joseph Errico, known simply as J., is the current fashion director at Marie Claire USA. He was appointed to the position after serving for many years as the style director at Andy Warhol’s Interview, and most recently, after an almost 10-year stint, as the fashion director of NYLON and NYLON Guy’s magazines. He has contributed to magazines such as, Vanity Fair, Elle Décor, Numéro, Dazed & Confused, New York Magazine, Surface, and Zoo while maintaining a celebrity styling clientele of both Hollywood actors and international pop icons. Over the years, J. has cast and styled runway shows for such historic labels as Ghost, Imitation of Christ and Nicole Miller. He has collaborated with an impressive list of photographers, among them Albert Watson, Carter Smith, Alexei Hay, Collier Schorr, Julian Schnabel, Ellen von Unwerth, Bert Stern, Sophie Delaporte, Mark Seliger, Matthias Vriens-McGrath, François Nars, Max Vadukul, Cass Bird, Matt Jones, Paola Kudacki, Jack Pierson, Michelangelo di Battista, Brigitte Lacombe, Ben Watts, Luke Smalley, Jonty Davies, Christian Witkin, Noe Dewitt, Matthew Rolston, Thomas Whiteside, Danielle Levitt, Gavin Bond, Mark Squires, Erik Madigan Heck, Hilary Walsh, Peter McGough, Sam Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Adams, and Todd Oldham.“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining the team at Marie Claire.
