Marie Claire Arabia held its prestigious “Marie Claire International Fragrance Awards” in the famous Perfume House in the state-of-the-art and iconic Al Shindagha Museum in Dubai. This incredible venue honours Dubai’s rich history and showcases the fragrances and wonders of times past. Leaving visitors in awe, the museum beautifully combines traditional and international culture.

Marie Claire guests were welcomed by Marie Claire Senior Beauty Editor Sarah Rasheed who paved the way for guests to immerse themselves in an aromatic journey and tour of the museum to explore the famous fragrances that date back centuries. Afterwards, guests were invited to take part in a special voting session in a sun-lit courtyard, featuring design pieces by Aura Living and delicious organic food by Wild and the Moon. In this stunning space guests were asked to choose their favourites from five different fragrances, Cuir Intense from Guerlain, Agar Royal from Chopard, Les Sables Roses from Louis Vuitton, The Moon by Julien Rasquinet from Frédéric Malle and finally Spice Blend by Dior. The award was given to Spice Blend by Dior, with its rich oriental blend of ginger, cinnamon and black pepper delighting many. The gathering ended with a visionary workshop conducted by the talented Emirati perfumer Dhaher bin Dhaher, who expressed his utter devotion and love for his work in creating majestic fragrances.
