Antonella Bussi has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire Italy. Antonella hails from Milan, one the world’s fashion captials, where she earned her degree in Language and Foreign Literature from the IULM (Istituto Universitario di Lingue Moderne).
Antonella started her career in finance and even ran a safari in Africa for four years, but she always remained passionate about journalism and in 1999 joined Marie Claire Italy. For the next 14 years she worked alongside Marie Claire’s editors and became co-editor in chief. In 2012, Antonella joined Vanity Fair Italy as Deputy Editor, and after 5 years it was time for her “to come home”, as she wrote in her debut issue as editor in chief in January 2018 to her Marie Claire readers.
“I’ve always felt at home at Marie Claire because we share the same values, the same curiosity, the sense of engagement and lightness, a pursuit of beauty and a desire to be part of a kinder world for everyone, where women and their magic have more power.”
