On March 22, the brand came to life as thousands of people hit the pavement for Marie Claire Australia’s Up Late shopping night in James Street, Brisbane.
The area buzzed with fashion-obsessed shoppers, DJs, performances and pop-up cocktail bars and lounge areas while every store (including Aje, Camilla, David Jones, Sass & Bide, Scanlan Theodore, Zimmermann and more) offered discounts and special in-shop activations.
Designers were also out in full force as well as the MC team. Best of all was the new Marie Claire Hub, a huge pop-up shop (for the first time) featuring activations from The Daily Edited and Endota Spa, fashion installations from David Jones and Silk Laundry, and a make-up bar/tutorials hosted by MAC. Guests also relaxed in the Click On Furniture lounge with music by Bang & Olufsen, sipped drinks by San Pellegrino and Aqua Panna, and snacked on cupcakes distributed by the MC team. Despite the food, music, drinks and fashion, the hub’s Instagram wall was the real crowd-pleaser.
