To celebrate Liu Jo’s new collection, Marie Claire Spain launched a glamorous campaign starring the model Anna Ewers – one of the most iconic and outstanding models of the moment and a duo of photographers, Mert & Marcus. Marie Claire Spain created evocative content highlighting how Lui JO is designed for self-confident women who love to feel feminine.
The campaign included a dedicated article with photo gallery + video on marieclaire.es website, homepage and fashion pages amplification, a dedicated advertising campaign and newsletters. The special campaign resulted in strong reach and engagement delivering over 700,000 impressions.
POWERED BY DELL AND INTEL, Marie Claire magazine hosted their third annual Power Trip, connecting today’s most influential women across the U.S. for a 36-hour summit that begins in the sky.
Taking place in tandem with National Boss Day (October 16), this year’s summit celebrated the power of women supporting women to galvanize one another’s dreams and ambitions. The invite-only event began with east coast power women boarding a chartered United Airlines aircraft to meet power women in San Francisco for a non-stop uniquely crafted networking extravaganza filled with surprising content and exclusive access to some of the brightest and most innovative minds in the country.
The 2018 Power Trip coincides with Marie Claire’s November Power Issue (on newsstands nationwide October 20) which features the sixth annual New Guard list. The 2018 list showcases the magazine’s top 50 women who are disruptors, creators, and innovators building the future and creating a new world order
“Since we started the Power Trip, our mission has been to bring together powerful women from across the country to come together in a setting none of them have experienced before,” said editor in chief Anne Fulenwider. “Each of our Power Trippers are driving change in the culture and across their respective industries. In the three years we have hosted the Power Trip, we have cultivated a community of ingenious, creative of women who represent the best of the Marie Claire.”

There was no cost to attend the Power Trip, which included in-flight networking and exclusively designed experiences for women including executive meet-ups, a Dell/Intel Tech concierge, skin consultations by Amore Pacific, SHOES FIRST™ styling sessions with Sorel, a headshot photo station, a new mom Pumping station, makeup touch-ups, bra fittings, and more. All guests aboard the charter received a carry-on suitcase from AWAY, packed with essentials for the journey ahead. Additionally, TACORI provided guests with Shine Together bracelets . Power Trip guests enjoyed accommodations from the Hotel Kabuki in San Francisco, a Joie de Vivre hotel along with a private day of activities at Pintrest HQ in San Francisco.
