Marie Claire Netherlands and Longchamp collaborated for the launch of the new Longchamp Mademoiselle bag. To create buzz and awareness around the new Mademoiselle Bag and importantly generate sales, Marie Claire and Longchamp organized a private fashion event especially for Marie Claire readers, fashion influencers and Longchamp lovers. This exclusive event was promoted via Marieclaire.nl, the Facebook event, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter all generating strong exposure for Longchamp.
On Thursday night October 5th 2017, the event took place in the luxurious Longchamp store in the P.C. Hooftstraat. The stunning venue featured a black carpet, a cocktail bar with tailor-made Longchamp cocktails, delicious canapés, styling sessions, a photo booth, a DJ and competitions. The first 100 guests received a three-month subscription to Marie Claire and went home with a goodie bag including a luxurious Longchamp keychain.
Marie Claire online articles, social media posts on the night itself, guest social media, videos, magazine exposure and the special evening event generated brand exposure of over 558,000 for Longchamp. But importantly the event resulted in driving sales of the Mademoiselle bag and Longchamp accessories.
